The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) is a prominent international platform for sharing and collaboratively developing innovative water solutions. It comprises seminars, conferences and gatherings held from June 18 to 22, 2024. A cornerstone of SIWW is the Water Expo, which takes place over three days from June 19 to 21, 2024. The Water Exposerves as the pre-eminent marketplace for the latest urban water technologies, innovation and solutions for municipal and industrial water users in Southeast Asia. 

In 2018, SIWW celebrated its 10th anniversary, culminating in a highly successful event that attracted over 24,000 participants from around the world. The event generated significant value, with announcements on awarded projects, tenders, investments and memorandums of understanding (MOUs) amounting to a total value of S$23 billion, underscoring its role in driving industry growth.

SIWW 2022 returned as an in-person event at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Held alongside the CleanEnviro Summit Singapore, both events hosted over 11,000 physical trade attendees, including leaders in government, industry and academia from 65 countries and regions.

This biennial event brings together stakeholders from the global water industry to exchange best practices, showcase cutting-edge technologies and explore business opportunities. The SIWW is a vital event in the strategic program of the Singapore Government to foster the growth of the water industry and develop water technologies. The organization responsible for hosting this event is Singapore International Water Week Pte Ltd (SIPL) established by Singapore's Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency.

Singapore International Water Week Pte Ltd (SIPL) and Messe München's wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, MMI Asia Pte. Ltd. (MMI Asia), have recently announced a significant long-term agreement. Under this 10-year agreement, from 2023 to 2032, MMI Asia will organize five editions of the SIWW Water Expo in collaboration with SIPL. Furthermore, MMI Asia will provide support to SIPL in curating high-quality and impactful content at the event, leveraging the extensive influence of IFAT, the world's largest and leading environmental technology platform.
